Do you know if this article was geared towards FFX fans, gamers, or non-gamers?

It seems like it was made for people who didn't play FFX, yet a lot of terminology wasn't explained for that audience.

I don't know, but I'm inclined to agree. It's probably somewhere in-between though; it was probably indented to be a recap for those that have played the game, but it is also useful for those that haven't.

It also may be a sort of "ooh look, games have substance!" article, geared entirely towards non-players. I feel like this one is the most likely.

It's just like the fayth of Bevelle said, Yu-Yevon was neither good nor evil. Yuna's adventure to save Spira would not have been possible if it wasn't for Yu-Yevon's teachings, Auron, Jecht and her father's sacrifice along with the existence of aeons. Sin was a horrendous curse to Spira but I was happy to see it get destroyed forever. Poor Tidus, realizing the true fate of a summoner's pilgrimage and learning that he was a dream. It was a compelling, emotional, heart felt storyline and I'll never forget it. Praise be to Yevon lol
